Functional Responsibilities
Responsible to deliver capital projects, from engineering through commissioning, in support of site objectives.
Ability to prioritize immediate, medium-, and long-term needs as conditions evolve, in alignment with site
operations.
Direct and manage the interface between disciplines on projects including process engineering, project controls,
project engineers, electrical & instrumentation, inspection, procurement, and construction.
Manage External Engineering Contractors work performance and progress on-site and at EPC home office as
applicable.
Develop and manage overall CAPEX budget, funding approvals, schedules, reports and project documentation.
Responsible for the development of estimates, schedules, execution plans, project funding requests, and
progress performance/ forecast reports.
Ensure the completion of proper design reviews.
Work with HSSE to obtain necessary permits/licenses and ensure PHA action items are addressed during project
cycle.
Responsible for project technical and commercial bid tabulations for procured materials, equipment, and
services.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project documentation requirements.
Special projects, as assigned.
May be required to perform other duties, as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field
10+ years of engineering design or project management experience in a manufacturing facility.
Experience managing multi-discipline teams.
Experience with engineering and construction projects.
o Experience in developing Engineering and Construction Contractor Scope of Work Requirements. Review and
Approval of Lump Sum and T&M contracts.
Technical knowledge and experience involving a wide variety of chemical process equipment
Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project (or similar)
Good communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels
of employees
Basic estimating skills and knowledge of engineering and construction cost structure
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects
Willing to be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to project needs
