As a Technical Service Manager (TSM), you'll oversee daily operations, mentor your team of technicians, and ensure that clients recieve top-tier service in the technical and manufacturing sectors

The Role & Company

• Oversee daily operations and provide solutions for business concerns (customer issues, employee support, facility management).
• Hire, train, and mentor a team of technicians, setting professional development goals.
• Schedule and coordinate work for the local team and collaborate with other managers on larger projects.
• Apply industry expertise to provide technical solutions, review quotes, perform job walks, and audit fieldwork quality.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with internal teams, external clients, and vendors.
• Ensure jobs meet or exceed profitability goals.
• Work closely with leadership to implement strategic business initiatives.
• Support health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices to minimize risks.
• Maintain NETA certification and be willing to test up to the next level.
• Flexible schedule required-may include weekends, holidays, and travel up to 50%.

Requirements (Desirable, Not Essential)

• Associate degree or equivalent experience with 5 years in a related role.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing, or military training in electrical power (Army Prime Power, Air Force, Navy, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting ability in heavy industrial, utility, large commercial, and renewable energy sectors.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license required for company vehicle use.
