Job Description

Oscar Energy has immediate need for Instrumentation & Control Technicians to work on operations and maintenance projects within the Power Industry. The role will involve supporting plant operations, electrical and I&C Maintenance. Responsible for calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, reworking, modifying and inspection of power plant I&C components. Instruments include; transmitters, analyzers, sensors and detectors.

The Role

  • Install, configure, calibrate and maintain control, measurement and indicating instrumentation
  • Configuring and programming PLC and PAC
  • Remove, replace, adjust and replace components
  • Calibrating components and systems
  • Assisting as needed in plant design modification and hazard analysis
  • Maintain various computer based control systems
  • Comply with all facility environmental, health and safety policies

Education and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Valid state issued driving license
  • Solid level of computer literacy
  • Prior experience in an I&C Technician role
