Company Overview & Job Summary:

Oscar Energy is currently working with one of the fastest-growing & most successful Solar & Storage Project Developer, Owner, Operator and who has an immediate need for a Business Development / Origination Manager.

The Business Development / Origination Manager will be responsible for identifying new prospect clients and executing the sale of PPAs as well as developing new areas for market expansion. They are seeking an individual that has strong business development skills & experience managing complex sales. Solar experience is not required which makes this a perfect opportunity for hungry sales professionals to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company and industry.

Role Details:

  • Communicates with multiple teams internally and with external clients
  • Generates new sales / executes existing leads and developing them into prospects
  • Be the point of contact for customers + provide outstanding customer service
  • Delivers sales proposals and presentations to stakeholders
  • Proposal generation that includes EBAs, PPAs, Direct Sales, Capital Improvement

Role Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Business Development / Sales experience
  • Knowledge of the Solar industry is a plus but not required
  • Some travel will be required, but mostly local.
  • Location: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Virginia would be preferred. Travel around Virginia and surrounding states will be required.
